Yep, it’s sad that all the Halloween Candlelight Hikes in our area were canceled this year including at Devil’s Lake & Mirror Lake State Parks. Well, so you don’t miss out completely, we put together a VIRTUAL Halloween Torchlight hike at Devil’s Lake!
How It Works
Our video hike (Above) is about 22 minutes long and will go from the Devil’s Lake State Park north shore parking lot, up into the Northern Lights Campground, and back down again. This is a familiar path if you’ve come to the Devil’s Lake State Park Halloween Candlelight Hikes before. (Of course, it’s dark, so be careful out there! )

Parents: On this virtual hike, we’re simply walking the trail. There are no scary monsters or “jump scares” in this kid-friendly virtual hike.
(Now we think the best way to play at home is in your costume!!) Be sure to print out your answer cards in advance and have lots of snacks ready! The big people in your house can read the questions and give you lots of hints! That’s OK!!!
