Devil’s Lake State Park’s Ice Age campground has only non-electric campsites and is popular with tent campers. Of course, pop-ups and RVs are allowed.

The campground is divided into two sections: Lower Ice Age (sites 301-390) and Upper Ice Age (sites 401-535). Lower Ice Age has a mix of wooded and open sites, including a popular section of sites located in a pine grove. The Upper Ice Age is completely wooded. Three sites are available for people with disabilities.

While the campground is about a mile from the day-use picnic area and beach, there are two running water restroom and shower buildings and seven pit toilet buildings located throughout the Ice Age campground. The distance can be walked, but most prefer to drive.

Note: To access this campground, you must drive through the main park entrance. This can lead to long waits to return to your campsite from outside the park on busy weekends.
