We’ve uploaded a new batch of Devil’s Lake State Park “Critter Cam” pictures to Pinterest. Click Here to check ’em out. We’re pretty sure we stumbled upon a racoon families home and for the first time we’ve actually caught a turkey on a trail cam. Who would have thought that would have taken so long!??
We’ve really enjoyed seeing what we can find out and about at Devil’s Lake State Park. We’ve got about 5 cameras out now and the park nature center has received another from the new Wisconsin DNR’s “Snapshot Wisconsin” program. Did you know you can participate in Snapshot Wisconsin as well? Who know’s what’s living in your neck of the woods!?? Maybe even Bigfoot!
According to the DNR website; “Snapshot Wisconsin is a partnership to monitor wildlife year-round, using a statewide network of trail cameras. The project will provide data needed for wildlife management decisions. It is also a unique opportunity for individuals, families, and students to get involved in monitoring the state’s valuable natural resources.” You can learn more about Snapshot Wisconsin right here.
Check back soon, we’ll be sure to update you when we have more Devil’s Lake State Park Critter Cam pictures to share!
