Baraboo has a few miles of paved bike and hike trails within the city, most notably the Baraboo River Walk which runs just about 2 miles in 3 sections. There is also an older bike trail that begins across the street from Devil’s Lake State Park’s north shore entrance road and follows Hwy 123 almost into town and ending at Walnut street. These tails offer more ways to explore the area, but don’t necessarily make it easier to explore the community by bike. To give you a starting point we have mapped these trails (In Blue) then made some route suggestions in pink. The red section marks a section in front of Circus World where if you want to connect to the next section of the Baraboo River Walk it would be best to walk your bikes, especially with kids as the road can be really crazy.
