Take a celestial Stroll tomorrow night (Saturday, February 4) at Devil’s Lake State Park from 7:00 – 8:30 pm! Meet at the Steinke Basin Parking Lot.
Join the Devil’s Lake State Park Naturalist for a moon lit walk through the forest searching for nocturnal animals. Along the way you’ll stop to check on one of the park’s critter cams to see who’s been moving around at night when no one is around. You’ll do a bit of stargazing if the sky is clear.
Please wear proper footwear and clothing for the outdoors on a winter’s night. You’ll hike the Johnson Moraine Trail for about a 1 ½ – 2 mile hike. Bring your snowshoes! There will be a limited number of snowshoes to borrow for free as well.
