Winter is here and there is plenty of snow for snowshoeing at Devil’s Lake State Park! The park has snowshoes visitors can borrow for FREE. These can be borrowed anytime the Nature Center is open, starting in January (See below for open hours).
The snowshoes have to be used in the park’s boundaries and cannot be taken off property. They are handed out on a first-come-first-serve basis. No reservations are taken.
Nature Center Hours:
Starting in January . . .
Thursdays – 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm
Fridays – 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm
Saturdays – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sundays – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Please note, the hours can change due to staff schedules and programs.
