Right now at Devil’s Lake State Park there is some color here and there, but green is still in the majority. We’re certainly a couple of weeks away from peak color. That said, there is some nice out there if you look for it.
The maples in the north shore parking area are turning orange from the top down. (Trees along roads & parking lots tend to be more stressed each year and usually change first.) Along the trails, sumac trees and Virginia Creeper vines are turning red. You’ll also see little splashes of yellow and orange along the trails as well.
