Feel free to drop in any time between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 9
7:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Meet at the Steinke Basin parking lot.
If you are a frog fanatic, you will want to join us for this nocturnal trip to the park’s kettle ponds. We’ll listen for spring peepers, wood frogs, and chorus frogs. We’ll spend some time looking for frogs too. We’ll explore, play Frog Bingo, and listen for other night sounds. Bring your flashlight as we’ll be hiking right around dusk.
Don’t Forget . . .
A Hike Back in Time happening Saturday too! The hike will start at 9:00 am at Steinke Basin. Join Ken Lange on a hike up the bluffs to learn about the fascinating geologic features in the park.
