One of the most popular spots to take fall color photographs at Devil’s Lake State Park is on the North Shore entrance road. Peak color for the entrance way, is about a week after peak has passed everywhere else. Well, yesterday was that day. Now, with wind and rain predicted for the next few days, I think it’s fair to say that the fall color season is over here in the Baraboo Hills. That is not to say you won’t find a colorful tree here of there yet, but for the most part, we’ve entered the brown season of November. Now, where did I bury my snowshoes?
