Ropes & Kayaks July 12th – 14th
The Devil’s Lake kayak tour scheduled for this evening is full up, and by that I mean WAY full up. If you were turned away on this one, stay tuned for the next tour coming up in a couple of weeks. Still, there’s plenty more to do at the park and in the area this weekend including the Dances with Dirt race on Saturday, a ropes rescue presentation on Saturday night and of course the Sauk County Fair going on now through the weekend. Dances With Dirt Trail Run at Devil’s Lake State Park – Click here for details.
Wild Lunch 11 am – 12 pm at the Devil’s Lake State Park Nature Center – Watch the animals in the Nature Center have lunch! Watch the box turtles munch on some salad. See the watersnake slurp down a fish. Look at the treefrogs as the tackle a cricket or two. - This popular program is always hopping!
Kayak Tour at MIRROR LAKE STATE PARK 10AM – Meet at the boat landing.
Stuck on the Rocks with the Baraboo District Ambulance Service 7pm to 8pm - Find out what happens when there’s a climbing emergency on the bluffs of Devil Lake. Members of the Baraboo District Ambulance Service will show you the techniques and equipment used in rope rescues. Meet at the Devil’s Lake Northern Lights Campground Amphitheater.
Big Band Dance at the Devil’s Lake Chateau from 7:30 to 10:30 pm - Dance to the Big Band sounds of the Jerry Stich Band in Wisconsin’s celebrated “most romantic dance pavilion” – the Chateau. Join us as we relive the glory years. Cost is $8. ( Or just sit outside the Chateau and enjoy the music for free! )
Bagpipes at the Glen – Durward’s Glen at 7 pm - Back by popular demand, we will have an outdoor concert featuring the music of Scotland and Ireland. Bring along a bottle of wine and enjoy a beautiful evening at The Glen. Food will be available on the grounds. Click here for details.

The Downtown Baraboo Sunday Market from 10am to 3pm - The Downtown Baraboo Sunday Market includes Antique Dealers, Collectors, Artisans and Crafters selling their work on the streets of Downtown Baraboo.
