Devil’s Challenge

This Sunday, September 18th, the annual Devil’s Challenge Triathlon will kick off at 8 am on the north shore of Devil’s Lake State Park. The triathlon includes a 1/4 mile swim, a 15 mile bike, and a 3 mile run. As of today forecasters are calling for a mostly cloudy, breezy, and mild day with a chance for showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon. By the time participants hit the water the air temps will be just a few degrees above the predicted previous night’s low temperature of 41f, so it could be a chilly start. The day’s high temp is forecast to be around 70f. Click here for pictures from last year’s event.
