The Devil’s Lake Monster

One thing Devil’s Lake is NOT famous for is being the home of a mysterious lake monster.  Well, this photo isn’t going to change things!  Still I can say with all honestly that I did take this picture at Devil’s Lake last evening. Sure I may have added a bit of a blur to it, but other than that it’s been hardly been re-touched…  Truth is, you’ll often see things floating around on the lake after a good storm like we had the night before.  Still given the small size of the lake and the general calmness of the water, anything floating around out there does seem to stand out. But before you write off lake monsters all together it can be said that if you watch the lake really closely, occasionally you will see a very mysterious ripple…
