Here in Wisconsin we were hit by a major snow storm that dropped about a foot of snow since yesterday.  It was mid-day before we were able to get out of our own driveway and get out to  enjoy the snow at the park.  Good thing we were delayed. When we finally arrived at the park we found ourselves following the snow plow just as it cleared a path into the north shore.  There is something really special about Devil’s Lake State Park right after a heavy snow fall.  It’s magical and at the same time you feel a sense of immense solitude.  One thing is certain, it’s time to get out the skis.
