This little chapel is located on Tower Road here in the Baraboo hills. It’s actually visible from the eastern edge of the Uplands Trail in the park.  The chapel was built in 1882 and served it’s congregation until 2001 when the aging congregation put it up for sale.  It was purchased by Jolene Hoskins, owner of The Flower Co., in Portage, Wisconsin and restored.  Now rechristened as “The Country Bluff Wedding Chapel” the building can be rented for your big event.  If you’d like to learn more you can visit their website here.

We stopped by the other day while out visiting Durward’s Glen.  No one was there at the time, but we did find a bat hanging from the eves…
