The diving rock at about the midway point of Tumbled Rocks trail on the west side of the lake is another one of those popular but not so “authorized” spots in the park.  It’ s popular because if you get a nice long jump you can dive right into the lake.  The scary side is that directly below the rock is a field of jagged quartzite.  You MUST dive out and away.  Obviously I’m not advocating you dive here.  I’m saying NEVER, NEVER, NEVER dive here.  You were warned… But people do..  That’s the sort of double speak you need to use on the web you know.  Be safe out there!
