fog walk 08
by derrickam ~ December 29th, 2008

We had some amazing atmosphere a couple days ago when the air tempratures suddenly climbed near 50f for a day and filled the world with a thick fog. I of course spent much of the day out roaming around the park taking in the spring-like air and being a shutter bug. I’ve not yet begun to sort through all the images but at first glance you get the feeling you’re on the set of Narnia.
I hope everyone had a great holiday. If you’ve not heard yet, Devil’s Lake State Park will not be putting in a new raised trail at Parfrey’s Glen to replace the one that was washed out in last year’s flooding. Although I think it was pretty fancy and did keep the damange to local plant life down, I think we’ll survive that one.
One more fog shot from the North Shore.
